At the center of this futon is (2) 2.5 inch 1.5 pound density HR convoluted foam pieces. which provides resiliency and support. This core is wrapped in 4 layers of luxurious natural cotton batting that is processed by Natural Felt to exacting standards. All of the materials are protected by a heavy 100% cotton outer shell that features double-stitched seams. we then tuft our futons in order to keep all of the materials in place.
